Rail Project Manager

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Rail Project Manager to join our expanding Rail / Communications division in Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of communications and electrical rail projects within a respected national business.

 

About the role

Working closely with our management team, estimators and field staff, you will manage the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects for a blue-chip client base.

You will bring strong project management capability, practical rail experience and the leadership skills to drive safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of electrical and communications rail projects
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Monitor budgets, costs, schedules and project performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational requirements
  • Support planning, reporting and timely resolution of project issues

Skills and experience

  • At least 5 years' experience on rail projects
  • Strong knowledge of rail project delivery and site operations
  • Experience delivering OCS and electrical projects in the rail environment
  • Knowledge of structured cabling, fibre optics, CCTV, PA, security and PLC systems
  • Strong leadership, communication and client management skills
  • Experience using MS Project and other project management software

Qualifications and offer

  • A Grade Electrical License
  • ACMA Cabler Registration with Fibre, Copper and Coaxial endorsements (preferred)
  • Private Security Individual Registration (preferred)
