The Opportunity 

Stowe Australia is embarking on a major national transformation of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems. We are moving away from legacy processes to implement the HSI Donesafe platform across our entire national operation. 

We are seeking a true HSEQ Specialist, someone who understands the nuances of ISO compliance, the construction, service and facility management operating environment, construction workflows, and risk management, and can translate those requirements into a seamless digital ecosystem.

What You Will Do 

As the bridge between our operational safety needs and the HSI implementation team, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the configuration of the Donesafe platform. 

• Lead System Configuration: Provide expert input into the design of 25+ modules, including Incidents, Hazards, Risk, Audits, SWMS, and Contractor Management. 

• Operational Alignment: Ensure the digital workflow mirrors the reality of site operations while maintaining strict adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. 

• Process Translation: Translate complex HSEQ processes (such as risk assessments, ICAM investigations and legal compliance obligations) into intuitive user workflows. 

• Stakeholder Coordination: Manage internal SMEs & resources, prepare them for workshops, and interpret their feedback to ensure the system solves real-world problems. 

• Implementation Support: Assist with change management, documentation, and pilot rollouts to ensure a smooth transition for our branch and project teams. 

• Travel:  this role will require travel around the various Stowe branches across NSW, QLD and VIC 

The Specialist We Need 

To succeed in this role, you must possess a hybrid skillset: deep operational HSEQ knowledge combined with digital systems expertise. 

Essential Experience: 

• Donesafe Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience using or configuring HSI Donesafe (workflows, forms, automation, and dashboards) is required. 

• Industry Background: 5+ years of HSE experience within the Construction, Electrical, or Engineering services sectors. You must understand the specific hazards and risks associated with our industry. 

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation principles, subcontractor management and audit processes. 

Qualifications & Competencies: 

• Formal Qualifications: Certificate IV in WHS (Minimum). 

• Auditing Skills: Internal Auditor qualifications (e.g., BSBAUD411) are highly regarded, as you will be configuring audit modules to meet certification requirements. 

• Digital Literacy: High-level data skills and the ability to interpret complex process flows. 

• Communication: The ability to command a room during workshops and articulate technical safety requirements to non-technical stakeholders. 

(Note: An electrical trade background or license is considered an advantage but is not essential).
