Stowe Australia one of Australia’s largest Electrical & Communications Contractors is looking to engage the services of a Communications / Telecommunications Technician to work in its Client Services Department.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate field works efficiently.
Maintain effective communication with customers.
Work in a fast-paced environment across various customer sites.
Preferred qualifications & skills:
Telecommunications Industry Experience: Preferably in critical environments.
Construction of Communication Racks and Active Network Equipment.
Installation of Tie and Patch Cabling.
Experience with Cutting Over / Changing Active Communications Equipment.
ACMA Open Cabling Registration with structured fiber endorsements.
Fiber Optic Cabling Skills: Preparation, Splicing, and Termination.
OTDR Testing and Fiber Commissioning.
Unrestricted Driver’s License.
Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
It would be also highly desirable to have experience and qualifications with:
NV1 Security Clearance
Cert III Telecommunications
Unrestricted Electrical Licence
Remuneration and package will be developed depending on abilities and experience.
