The Opportunity

Stowe Australia is embarking on a major national transformation of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems. We are moving away from legacy processes to implement the HSI Donesafe platform across our entire national operation.

To support this program, we are seeking a Junior Business Analyst with strong data and testing capability to support the Data & Testing Lead through the Donesafe rollout. This role is suited to a developing BA who is confident working with data, test cases, business processes, SMEs and project teams, and who wants hands-on exposure to a large-scale SaaS implementation.

This is a practical delivery role focused on helping ensure data is accurate, testing is well managed, defects are clearly tracked, and business users are supported through UAT and rollout readiness activities.

The Role

As the Junior Business Analyst - Data & Testing Support, you will work closely with the Data & Testing Lead, project team, Stowe SMEs and the HSI Donesafe vendor team. You will assist with:

• Supporting data mapping, cleansing, validation and migration preparation activities
• Reviewing source data, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and helping prepare data for upload into Donesafe
• Documenting business processes, data requirements, test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Preparing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, test evidence and traceability documentation
• Supporting UAT coordination across Donesafe modules, including scheduling, user guidance and issue capture
• Logging, triaging and tracking defects through to retest and closure
• Preparing status updates, test progress reports, data issue logs and action registers
• Assisting with user documentation, training materials, change readiness and rollout support
• Working with HSEQ stakeholders to understand operational workflows and translate them into clear data and testing requirements
• Assisting with API integration requirements gathering and analysis, field mapping, payload validation, and integration testing. Working with source system owners to understand data structures, business rules, and integration requirements.

About You

You are a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong interest in data, systems testing and digital transformation. You are comfortable working with spreadsheets, asking clarifying questions, documenting requirements, and supporting business users through structured testing activities.

Essential

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Test Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Analyst or similar role
• Good understanding of API Concepts, data quality, data cleansing, validation, reconciliation and issue tracking
• Experience supporting testing activities, including test case preparation, test execution, defect logging and retesting
• Strong Excel capability, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, data comparison and cleansing techniques
• Ability to document process flows, requirements, test scripts, user stories or acceptance criteria clearly
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with structured information across multiple sources
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with SMEs, business users, project teams and vendors
• Ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on assigned actions in a fast-paced delivery environment

Highly Regarded

• Exposure to HSEQ, WHS, compliance, construction, electrical, field services or operational environments
• Experience with HSI Donesafe, HSI Solv or other HSE/WHS systems such as INX or Bsafe
• Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise system implementations
• Exposure to Power Query, Postman, Power BI, SQL, APIs, SFTP and integration testing
• Experience working with UAT participants or supporting business users through system change
