Your role as an Apprentice Electrician

• Performing preparation work and installation of cable pathways and supports
• Installing electrical and communications cabling as required (both internal & external)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Role

You’ll join our growing WA team delivering electrical works across a variety of client sites here in WA. This is ongoing contract work backed by a consistent and increasing workbook, offering genuine stability and variety. You’ll report to a Site Supervisor or Project Manager and work as part of a collaborative, safety‑focused team.

Duties

• Install, maintain and commission electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites
• Deliver Defence, infrastructure and fit‑out projects to specification

• Maintain compliance with WA electrical standards and site safety requirements
• Complete job documentation and reporting using digital tools and software

Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence (essential)
• Construction Industry White Card (essential)

• Commercial or industrial electrical experience (site‑based)
• ACMA Open Cabling Registration (preferred, not essential)

About the Role

Stowe Australia is seeking interest from a highly motivated, experienced Contract Administrator to be part of our Perth Construction Team.

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual requirements of our commercial construction works and coordinating project schedules.

The “ideal” candidate will come from an Electrical background and bring with them project management and technical expertise that can be built upon, although other backgrounds are welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Business Management Team, primary responsibilities for this position include the following (but not limited to):

• Work closely with the project team to Develop, Maintain, and Manage Commercial and Contractual obligations of our business and projects.
• This is a hybrid role working between the Stowe office in Belmont and on the site located near Mandurah.
• Maintain proactive and positive relationships with our client, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Be responsible for the administration of construction contracts from initiation to completion.
• Reviewing and negotiating of contracts with client and other stakeholders.
• Drafting and revising supplier sub-contracts, including preparing documents for tender and negotiation of purchase agreements with suppliers.
• Assist in resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely manner.
• Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects.
• Ensure that projects are being managed proactively.
• Be responsible for reporting deliverables to the project lead, project team, and business managers.
• Assist in preparing all required reports for monthly project report meetings, proactively advise of any new risks, opportunities, or changes, and participate in strategic discussion. 

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent would be highly regarded.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial and contract administration is ideal
• A background in Estimating would be beneficial
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Advising on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts.
• Outstanding organisation, time management, and prioritising skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Be a Team Player willing to accept responsibility.
• Requires strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and database applications

Stowe Australia is seeking interest from highly motivated, experienced Electrical Supervisor with experience in Defence, Commercial and Industrial Installations to be part of our WA team based in Perth and surrounding areas.

Our Perth Office has been in WA since 2019 and continues to grow with the community.  We have a wide range of Customers within the Private and Government Sectors.

We undertake Small, Medium & Large Size Projects, State and National Rollouts, and have a continuous and growing workbook.

As a minimum, Electrical Supervisors require the following skills/licences:

• Current Unrestricted WA Electrical License
• Construction Industry General Safety Induction
• Current WA Drivers Licence
• ACMA open cabling registration (preferred but not crucial)
• Sound understanding of daily supervisor tasks – Pre starts, risk assessments, site management, procurement, programming of works and promoting a positive and safe working culture.
